Ultrafiltration (UF) along with Nanofiltration (NF) and Reverse osmosis (RO), are all examples of pressure-driven membrane filtration. UF is flexible filtration method used to remove a variety of particles, pathogens, virus, bacteria and microorganisms from process liquids. Ultrafiltration is similar membrane to RO membranes but with bigger pores which cannot remove dissolved salts from water.
